Bureau Veritas Company is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer
and EMC Technician
for its Littleton, Massachusetts’s facility.
Electrical
Engineer
Job responsibilities will include conducting testing for the
compliance of diverse new prototype products to worldwide regulatory
compliance standards in our state-of-the art-testing laboratory. This
position requires working from limited documentation, written or
verbal instructions and the development of expert understanding and
implementation of worldwide compliance standards. You will perform
troubleshooting or analysis of failures that occur during testing and
prepare test reports that accurately document results and findings.
Bachelors Degree in
Electrical Engineering is required. Experience with amplifiers, signal
generators, noise sources, multimeters and oscilloscopes is also
required. Experience with data acquisition systems is a plus. The
ideal candidate must possess good attention to detail be
self-motivated and have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
EMC
Technician
Job
responsibilities will include the generation, development and
fabrication of test fixtures, calibration and maintenance of equipment
and general laboratory assistance.
An A.S.E.E. or
technical certificate from military/and or technical trade school with
a minimum of 2 years of applicable work experience is required. Must
have a working knowledge of test equipment such as DMMs, Scopes,
function/signal generators and spectrum analyzers. Also must be
mechanically capable with knowledge of soldering and wiring.
Experience with Electrical Power, Mechanics and Electronics is also
required.
The ideal candidate
must be able to work independently and can accommodate working on
projects starting from initial concept to completion in a time and
cost effective manner with minimal support. This candidate will also
possess good attention to detail, be self-motivated and have excellent
verbal and written communication skills.
