called The Curtis-Straus Compliance Management Program.
The Curtis-Straus Compliance Management Program (CMP) assists companies that desire regulatory approvals for their products, but lack the dedicated resources to effectively manage the process. The CMP is applicable to any product type or service type in need of a regulatory compliance laboratory or compliance related solution. Curtis-Straus will provide a highly skilled compliance engineer to your organization on a contract basis to provide guidance and walk your product through the entire compliance process.
How the Program Functions
When your company has a new product, or a compliance related issue, you may contract Curtis-Straus through the CMP program to quickly and efficiently address your compliance concerns. We offer hourly, daily, or project agreements based on your needs. Our support services include the following:
provide general compliance related advice, including the applicability of standards and product classification
design review at the front end of the process to assure a compliant design prior to product revisions or commencing production
creation and implementation of compliance test programs
support of actual laboratory testing at the test lab
collation of test data and creation of technical files to assure ISO and EU compliance
follow up to assure that all aspects of compliance and supporting documentation are in place to support product shipments

What do we need from you?
1) We need to know what your objective is. Please describe in detail what you expect your final deliverable from us should be.
2) We need an accurate description of your product and what your area of concern is. This will assist us in assuring we provide the correct personnel to facilitate a solution for your company.
3) We need an executed contract and purchase order to secure a dedicated compliance professional for you.
We provide contract services on an hourly, daily, weekly, or project basis. Product submittals can vary widely based on their specific applications. As a general rule, a typical ITE box should take a month or less from start to finish. Telecommunication products requiring NEBS testing can take up to three months to complete a full test program. We will provide you with more specific guidelines once we understand your need completely.
