(Littleton, MA-April 9, 2004) Curtis-Straus is proud to announce several new innovative testing services and customer account management tools. These services and tools compliment our comprehensive testing capabilities, and further enhance our world class customer service commitment.

Airflow Testing for Thermal Stress and Fire Resistance Calculations and Predictions:  Curtis-Straus can now partner with its customers to perform comprehensive airflow and thermal stress analysis on mechanical assemblies and chassis. This includes airflow measurement, thermal stress analysis, and design modification prediction. This service also allows customers to predict  and measure the effects of design changes on previously tested chassis for the fire resistance requirements of GR-63-CORE and ANSI T1.319. This service is vital to the early stages of mechanical design and prototyping, and is an early stage component of the overall regulatory compliance strategy. These services are applicable to the Network Equipment, Medical, Transportation, Power Conversion & Handling, Industrial Products, and Military manufacturing industries.

Enclosure Testing for NEMA and IP Requirements:  Curtis-Straus can now evaluate Enclosures for NEMA and corresponding IP requirements for Europe. There are a wide variety of requirements for these tests, including but not limited to Hazards Accessibility, Solid Objects, Dust, Water Intrusion, and Corrosive Agents. Our test reports allow customers to access USA and EU markets in an expedited fashion.

Salt Fog Chamber & Electrodynamics Shaker System added to Environmental Simulation Laboratory: Curtis-Straus has recently upgraded the Environmental Simulation Laboratory with the addition of a Salt Fog Chamber and Electrodynamic Shaker System. This allows customers to test for requirements for NEMA, GR-487-CORE, and Mil-STD-810 testing, as well as ISTA and component level testing.

Curtis-Straus Project Manager Launched to Clients via the World Wide Web: Curtis-Straus has designed an innovative project tracking system and has now made it available to their customers effective immediately.
