CSA International Approves Curtis-Straus LLC to the CSA International Agent Program-Data Acceptance (APD)

(Littleton, MA – November 3, 2005) Curtis-Straus LLC (A Bureau Veritas Company), an industry leader in providing testing services for a wide range of electrical products, is pleased to announce that CSA International, a leading provider of product testing and certification services has granted approval for CSL to participate in the International Agent Program-Data Acceptance (APD)

This new program allows Curtis-Straus to test electrical products for CSA International Product Safety Listing at our Littleton, MA laboratory. Test Data generated is accepted without routine tests being witnessed by CSA International staff.  CSA staff may select to witness new or unique tests. Participation in this new program significantly improves the turn around time for product safety listing and accelerates the time to market for important projects on a time sensitive schedule. The scope of CSL’s approval under this program is currently limited to UL60950-1 & CSA C22.2 #60950-1. Additional standards may be added in the future.
