NVLAP Accredits Curtis-Straus LLC for FCC, IEC/CISPR 22 and AS-3548 Test Methods
Curtis-Straus LLC is now accredited to test and independently supply the approval

required to get your PC or peripheral to market without any FCC review.

(Littleton, MA - August 7, 1996) - The United States Government's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has formally accredited Curtis-Straus LLC under its National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).  Only 38 laboratories have been so recognized worldwide as of this year.  This is the same accreditation recently required by the Federal Communications Commission in its Report and Order 96-208.  The Report and Order requires FCC-recognized accreditation of laboratories making measurements to support Declarations of Conformity by manufacturers of Personal Computers and peripherals.

Included in the Curtis-Straus LLC NVLAP accreditation are the IEC/CISPR 22:1993 and Australian Standards AS-3548 test methods, demonstrating Curtis-Straus LLC's competence in these international test methods.
