NEBS Bellcore Test Capability Gets Customer Raves
Complete GR-1089-CORE Testing and Evaluation

(Littleton, MA - January 1, 1998) - 1997 was a landmark year for the development of a complete GR-1089-CORE test capability at Curtis-Straus LLC.  NEBS testing is almost always required for telecom equipment purchased by a Regional Bell Operating Company, such as Bell Atlantic.  NEBS testing can be particularly harsh with products EMC tested from 60 Hz to 10 GHz and power cross testing performed at a punishing 60A at 600 VAC.   Specialized test equipment and the expertise to apply the intricate standards appropriately are required.  According to customers, our experts have what it takes to get the job done right.  From a fully interlocked 75 kW power cross cage to a fully ferrite absorber-lined chamber instrumented to 10 GHz, Curtis-Straus LLC has made a significant investment in NEBS testing.

Curtis-Straus LLC can also arrange for complete GR-63-CORE testing to be completed in conjunction with your GR-1089-CORE testing.

At Curtis-Straus LLC the job doesn't end with the delivery of the report.  Due to the complexity of NEBS standards, often the Regional Bell Operating Company (RBOC) representative reviewing the test report needs further interpretive guidance on particular aspects of a product's compliance.  From Bell Atlantic to Pacific Bell, Curtis-Straus LLC is familiar with RBOCs and can help you explain your product's performance.

Interested parties are invited to call to arrange a tour of our facility or to discuss how Curtis-Straus LLC can serve your NEBS testing needs.
