Our principals have over 25 years of collective expertise in electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) testing and problem solving. Our highly trained staff has helped
hundreds of client companies overcome the obstacles presented by EMC challenges. Our
facilities are modern. They include four open area test sites located adjacent to
our full service laboratory, as well as two anechoic chambers and a full suite of immunity
test equipment. From NEBS to transmitters to CE marking to in-situ testing, we know
EMC.
Curtis-Straus LLC tests a wide variety of National and International standards for EMC.
These include but are not limited to:
- FCC Part 15, 22, 18 and 90 for intentional and unintentional radiators.
- EN55022, EN55011, EN55013, EN55015 and EN50091-2 for radiated and conducted emissions.
- EN50082-1, EN50082-2, EN55024, EN60601-1-2 and EN61800-3 for immunity requirements.
- ETSI 300 386-1, ETSI 300 132-2 for European Telecommunications Standards.
We also test to the many draft standards that are evolving in the world today. We
constantly monitor the latest standard releases and updates to assure that Curtis-Straus
LLC remains on the cutting edge as an industry leader in the field of regulatory
compliance. In fact, our principals are members of some of the technical committees
that write these standards. Our participation assures you that we are up to date on
the regulatory issues facing you now and in the future.
Curtis-Straus LLC also has the infrastructure to support large equipment, featuring
1MVA at 208VAC three phase, 30kVA at 460VAC three phase, and two compressors producing 20
CFM of compressed air at 90 psi. Our motorized 4 meter (13') turntable supports
4,500 kg (10,000 pounds).
Curtis-Straus LLC is widely known for bringing its considerable expertise to focus on
